We've put up an MP3 from the record. Check it out and tell your mom what you think of it.

The title of the new record is Well Versed in Deception. It's got 8 songs, but it's longer than any of our other records. It's also the first one that contains no "filler" tracks and/or no previously released songs. We decided to start with fresh ideas, and we're very happy with the result.

Also, scratch what we said about the LP not being released in the US. It will be released on the label that Jessica and I started, Said In Jest.

We're going to hopefully work it out so that it's released right before we head off to Europe, but we're still working on getting artwork finished, so we'll see what happens.

Finally. The new album is finished. The last day of mixing was yesterday, and we're all extremely happy with the end result. That's all. More info coming soon.

Okay, as much as we thought we had it all under wraps, we've discovered some problems with shipping out items people ordered from our online store. There was some confusion on our part that involved certain members both assuming the other one had sent out the order. Oddly enough, even though some of them date back to December, no one has e-mailed about it until recently. I am almost positive I have it all fixed, but e-mail us if you placed an order and never received it. Please include what you ordered and your address in the e-mail.

I think we're going to discontinue the online store. We've all been so busy with work, practice, recording, shows, etc. etc. that we have let it slip our minds. However, I am working on another option that may end up being a lot cooler. Also, we'll have shirts and hoodies available in the Onedaysavior on-line store soon.

We start mixing the new record on Thursday. We're all really excited. We're STILL not sure what we want to call it. Maybe we should hold a "name the next FF record" contest. haha. Seriously, though, anyone who has an idea for an album title that they're dying to see actually used for an album should e-mail us.

After about two weeks, we have finished the tracking for our new recording. We're going back in a couple of weeks to mix it, and we're mastering a few days after that. I think it's pretty safe to assume it'll be out by May or June here in the US (on Onedaysavior), and probably April or May in Europe (on Scenepolice). The vinyl version will only be pressed in Europe, but we'll make sure that some copies are available here at non-import prices for the few people left in this country who still prefer vinyl.

We'll have an mp3 or two available ASAP. I hope everyone likes the record. We've been telling people that it pretty much sounds like a more intense Quietus with more emphasis on rock parts.

We had a good time at the Since By Man CD release show last night here in Milwaukee. We only played songs from the new record, though, and most of them had never been played live before. I think it went off fairly well cosidering, but the songs are going to have get a lot tighter before we start playing out again on a regular basis. We'll probably lay low for the months prior to our upcoming European tour, while we work on getting our van back in touring shape and we figure out how to tackle the US tour.

Tonight, we're playing up in Appleton with good friends Sunday Flood. I hope that playing the songs yesterday will make them tighter tonight.

We'll see...
