I made a new God & The Baby Jesuses site last night / early this morning. I stayed up way too late for my own good, but I think the site is cool. Check it out, pretty pretty please!

We've had to cancel all of the shows we had intended on playing this weekend for various reasons. Our apologies go out to anyone inconvenienced by this, but we'll make it up to you at some point in the future. Yage are still playing the Globe on Sunday with Sunday Flood and No Direction, and they're still playing the Fireside and Bloomington Fest, so still go. We just won't be playing.

We mastered the "collection" CD. We still don't know what we're going to call it, but here's the tracklisting:

1. Uncommon Ground
2. Order is Everything
3. Dying on our Own Terms
4. Beauty is in the Eye of the Bestower
5. At Moments
6. Hindsight is 20/20
7. Belmont & Sacramento
8. Recognized Letter
9. Cosimo Comma A
10. Asterix Legionaires
11. Locmariaquer
12. Emitter Follower
13. Hearsay
14. 6 A.M.
15. A Land Defined by the Sea
16. A Novel Idea
17. A Brilliant Show at Low Tide

1, 2 & 3 are from the split LP with Life Detecting Coffins
4 is from the split 7" with The Assistant
5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 & 13 are from Insincerity Down to an Artform
6 & 10 are from the Arquebus Vs. Archer 7"
14 & 15 are from the s/t 7" on Dyslexic Records
16 is from the Atmosphere Only Gets You So Far comp
17 is previously unreleased

It's all remastered, and we think it's pretty cool. It's coming out on Level Plane with awesome artwork (thanks to Marty at Guerrilla Digital), and it'll be the same price as a normal CD, even though it's got 17 songs.

NEWS

Our new guitarist is none other than Dan Yingling, who you may or may not know from bands such as The Brass, Hot Knives and the Transpire Ton. Things are running very smoothly already, and we're very excited to have him on board. Maybe we'll even get him to use some of his web skills to make the first Forstella Ford site not constructed by yours truly. We'll see. Our first show with Dan will be Bloomington Fest on August 31st.

CHANGE OF PLANS: we are no longer going to be cancelling the shows we had coming up. We will still be playing Bloomington Fest on August 31st, Milwaukee on September 1st, and Chicago on September 2nd. The ROCK PARTY will never end.
