Everything is still going well. We're practicing hard for our show in Steven's Point on October 25th. We've got a few old songs and one new one ready; we're hoping to have at least two new ones by the time we have to play the show. We're finding it difficult to make time for practice with everyone's hectic schedules, but we're pretty used to that, I suppose.

The "collection" CD with all of our out-of-print stuff is coming along nicely. Marty at Guerrilla Digital designed it, and it looks awesome. If you already own all of the records, you should get it just because it'll look better than it used to. The songs from our 2nd full-length, Insincerity Down to an Artform, sound a lot better after being remastered by Trevor Sadler at Mastermind Productions. I don't know when the CD will be out, but I imagine it won't take too long. We're hoping to get actual new songs released in the near future, but we're not exactly sure what's going on with that. We'll see.

Anyway, that's all, I guess. It's not much of an update, but it's an update nonetheless.

We wrote our first song with Dan last night and I can't even explain how much more excited about this band we all are now. It was getting a little frustrating spending all of our practices just trying to teach Dan parts that Jim wrote, so this was a much-needed release of tension. I think the writing process is going to be a lot smoother now, so hopefully we'll have a bunch of new songs in the future. I think we're going to look into getting a new practice space, too. The one we have now is really far away, and we have to share it with another band, which wasn't a problem before but it starting to be one now that we all have busier schedules.
